A: Yes, the entry fee is $750. This entry fee covers all areas of competition with two side
awards.
Q: If I win my state title, can I compete in other pageants?
A: You can only compete in other pageants if you have
both verbal and written permission from The Miss Teen of America Organization, inc. Offices.
Q: Can I compete if this is my first pageant?
A: Yes, most girls don't begin competing until their teen years or even
later.
Q: Is there an age requirement?
A: Yes, you must be atleast 14 by the Miss New York Teen of America Pageant and no older than 18 by the Miss Teen
of America Pageant.
Q: Do I have to live in New York to compete?
A: You must live in New York to compete for the Miss New York Teen of
America Pageant. To compete for another state please visit the Official
Miss Teen of America Pageant Website.
Q: If I've already won the state title, can I compete again?
A: Unfortunately, no. You cannot represent your state
at Miss Teen of America more than once.
Q: If I don't win the state title, do I still receive prizes or scholarship money?
A: Yes, all contestants receive
prizes just for entering. All runners up and side awards such as Miss Congeniality and Miss Volunteer Service will also win
prizes and scholarship money.
Q: Is your pageant televised?
A: The Miss New York Teen of America Pageant is not televised, however the national Miss Teen of America Pageant is televised.
Q: Can I obtain a refund of my money if I decide not to compete?
A: No, all payments you submit are non-refundable.
Q: Do I have to have a platform?
A: Yes, all entrants are required to have a platform to present.
Q: Do I have to compete in all phases of competition?
A: Yes, you must compete in all areas of competition.
Q: If I place as a runner-up can I move on to The Miss Teen of America Pageant?
A: Unfortunately, no. Only state winners can attend and represent at The Miss Teen of America Pageant.
